APEX Qualifies 5 Gymnasts to Level 8 Regionals

The APEX level 8 gymnasts finished the season with a 6th place team finish at Level 8 States on April 8 & 9, 2006. The meet was held in Stafford, Virginia and over 180 gymnasts from all over the state were represented. In addition to the great team showing APEX qualified 5 gymnasts to compete in the Regional Championships to be held in Allentown, Pennsylvania on the weekend of May 6th & 7th. Brielle Davis, Cora Dodson , Ashley Caldwell, Brittany Crichton and Tori Severin will represent APEX Gymnastics at Regional competition. Event placements are found below. • Brielle Davis - 1st place vault, 2nd bars, 3rd all around

• Ashley Caldwell - 5th vault, 6th beam, 8th all around

• Tori Severin - 4th bars, 13th all around

• Olivia McCarthy - 5th floor

• Amy Fissmer - 10th beam, 7th floor

• Erinn Schaal - 15th vault

• Cora Dodson - 5th vault, 7th bars, 6th beam, 5th all around

• Caroline Wattenmaker - 15th vault

• Brittany Crichton - 4th bars, 9th floor, 5th all around

• Alexa McCarthy - 4th beam, 8th floor, 11th all around

• Natalie Hurley - 19th bars
