FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE APEX Gymnast Finishes 10th at Level 10 Regionals!
Luda, Avis & Jacob at Level 10 Regionals Congratulations to Level 10 Regional Qualifier Avis Hixon, who just finished her senior competitive season at the Level 10 Regional Championships in Newport News, VA. Avis had a fantastic meet. She hit all of her routines and finished 10th on the floor exercise and in the All-Around competition. Avis finished the meet on floor, where her dynamic floor routine with two double-back flips and a full-twisting front layout were crowd pleasers. Finishing one place outside of the alternate spot to National Championships, Avis will now spend her last months at APEX preparing for college gymnastics at Towson University outside of Baltimore. APEX wishes good luck to Avis as she heads to college! She’s a fantastic gymnast, a wonderful person, and she’ll be missed at practices.
