APEX Gymnastics is beginning it's ninth year of operation. APEX began as an idea in January of 1997. When the existing Virginia Gymnastics decided to close it's doors, APEX became a reality. Marty Newsom and Melanie Cuozzo became owners in September, 1997 and APEX Gymnastics, Inc. was born. Today we are proud to have almost 1000 young gymnasts in our APEX programs.

APEX Gymnastics is proud to announce the completion of our newly renovated facility. Thanks to the hard work from Deary's Gym Supply, Fix It Home Repair and the APEX team parents our renovation project is complete. This renovation project added 3,000 square feet of gym space and over $50,000.00 in new equipment. We are happy to announce that we now have an 18 X 22 foot deep foam pit which allows gymnasts to vault, tumble and dismount bars and beam into. There is also a climbing rope over the pit. Other new equipment recently arrived including another set of Elite bars, a single rail for over the pit, a tumbling strip, a vault table trainer and a new Palmer Spring loaded floor exercise. The pit is used by gymnasts of all ages and classes and will be used at birthday parties. It will also be available for open gym.
