Shannon Cain Receives Athletic Scholarship to the University of Bridgeport!

January 6, 2006 - Leesburg, VA - Shannon Cain, level 9,  has been awarded a gymnastics scholarship to compete for the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.  Cain has trained at APEX Gymnastics in Leesburg since she was 4 years old and was crowned the Level 9 State All Around Champion in April.  Shannon will compete in her first meet as a Purple Knight on January 14th and will begin classes at Bridgeport on January 18th.  She is a 2004 graduate of Loudoun Valley High School.
